Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) is Ontario’s financial services regulator, overseeing pensions, insurance, credit unions, mortgage brokers, and more. From its inception, the FSRA required a public-facing digital platform that could serve both consumers and industry professionals, while fostering trust, promoting transparency, and adapting to the evolving needs of a new regulator.

Challenge

The initial challenge involved consolidating content from two legacy organizations while developing a visual identity and digital strategy from scratch, all under tight timelines and with a changing internal team.

Process

Q30 worked closely with FSRA stakeholders to shape a scalable site structure, develop user personas, and plan a phased content migration. We hosted collaborative workshops to understand user needs and regulatory functions and created a flexible design system and consultation experience to support public engagement.

Outcome

Today, FSRA’s website is a trusted, accessible, and easy-to-manage platform. We continue to support FSRA with UX research, content strategy, governance planning, and digital innovation, ensuring the platform evolves in step with the organization.
